1.2 PlayLokal is a league management platform for recreational sports. It helps organize teams, players, schedules, and match operations. It facilitates payments on behalf of leagues, tracks team and player statistics, schedules matches, supports player drafting to teams, enables league communications with teams and players, and provides community insights.
1.3 This Privacy Policy is intended to provide a global privacy framework for PlayLokal's operations in Australia and the Philippines. Because privacy obligations may differ depending on the jurisdiction, user location, contracting entity, service flow, or data handling arrangement, certain aspects of this Privacy Policy may require jurisdiction-specific interpretation or supplementation.
1.4 By accessing, using, registering for, interacting with, or submitting information through the Platform, you acknowledge that your personal information may be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Who We Are / Responsible Entities
2.1 PlayLokal is made available under the PlayLokal brand and is associated with the following entities:
- Henyo Pty Ltd, Australia, as the parent company; and
- PlayLokal Inc, Philippines, as the operating company for the Philippine market,
together referred to in this Privacy Policy as "PlayLokal", "we", "us", or "our".
2.2 Depending on the jurisdiction, market, service flow, relevant Platform function, or applicable law, either Henyo Pty Ltd, PlayLokal Inc, or both may be involved in determining the purposes and means of processing personal information.
2.3 In general terms:
- for Australia-related users, services, and data handling, Henyo Pty Ltd may be the relevant responsible entity;
- for Philippines-related users, services, and data handling, PlayLokal Inc may be the relevant responsible entity; and
- for certain shared systems, support functions, compliance activities, product development, or multi-market services, both entities may be involved.
3. Scope of this Privacy Policy
3.1 This Privacy Policy applies only to PlayLokal and the personal information handled through the Platform.
3.2 This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected from or about:
- players;
- league owners;
- organizers;
- team captains;
- facilities;
- parents and guardians; and
- minors whose profiles or information are created, managed, or submitted by parents, guardians, organizers, or other authorized persons.
3.3 PlayLokal currently intends to operate only in: (a) Australia; and (b) the Philippines.

Identity and Profile Information
This may include: full name, display name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, age or age bracket, gender, profile photo, username, login credentials or linked login details, government-issued identification or verification documents where requested, and any other profile information you provide.
Team, League, and Participation Information
This may include: team affiliation, league affiliation, facility affiliation, role within a team or league, registration details, attendance data, player drafting or assignment data, schedules, event participation records, performance or participation history, and team and player activity records.
Payment and Transaction Information
This may include: payer name, payment status, transaction history, registration payment records, payout-related details, related financial records needed for Platform operation, and other payment-related information made available to us by payment providers or through the Platform.
Technical and Device Information
This may include: IP address, browser data, device information, device identifiers, app identifiers, cookie data, server log data, usage and activity data, session data, diagnostics, and information collected through cookies, pixels, analytics tools, or similar technologies.

8. Payments and Payment Providers
8.1 The Platform may facilitate payments in connection with registrations, leagues, teams, events, transaction fees, or other Platform-related charges.
8.2 PlayLokal currently uses Xendit as a payment provider.
8.3 Payment details may be collected, processed, stored, and safeguarded by Xendit under its own systems, controls, and privacy policies.
8.5 PlayLokal does not store full payment card details unless and to the extent it actually does so. Based on the current payment setup, payment details are stored and protected by Xendit rather than by PlayLokal directly.
8.7 Your use of payment services may also be subject to Xendit's own terms and privacy practices.
9. Minors and Parent/Guardian-Managed Profiles
9.1 Minors are not intended to independently create accounts on the Platform unless expressly permitted by PlayLokal and Applicable Law.
9.2 Where a minor participates in the Platform, that minor is intended to be represented through a parent- or guardian-managed profile or through information lawfully submitted by an authorized organizer, facility, or guardian.
9.3 If you are a parent or guardian and you create, manage, or submit a child profile, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so and that, to the extent permitted by law, you consent on behalf of the child to the collection, use, disclosure, storage, and other processing of the child's information as described in this Privacy Policy.
11. Disclosure of Personal Information
11.1 We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to the following categories of recipients:
- Leagues and organizers
- Team captains
- Facilities
- Parents or guardians
- Payment providers such as Xendit
- Cloud, hosting, and infrastructure providers such as Firebase
- Email and communications providers such as SendGrid

13. Data Storage, Hosting, and International Transfers
13.1 PlayLokal intends to use separate storage arrangements for each market.
13.2 Philippine market data is intended to be stored in a Philippine-appointed server.
13.3 Australian market data is intended to be stored in an Australian-appointed server.
13.5 Where personal information is transferred internationally or made accessible across borders, we will take steps reasonably designed to ensure such handling is subject to appropriate protections and applicable legal requirements.

15.1 We take reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.
15.3 However, no method of transmission over the internet, mobile network, or electronic storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
