Welcome to the PlayLokal Privacy Policy! This Policy shall explain what kind of information we collect, the purpose of its collection, the legal basis of our collection, how we store, secure and delete your information. We suggest that you read this in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions of Use.

 

1. Collection of Information

When you sign up for a Player Account with PlayLokal, you are voluntarily providing us with your personal information which includes the following:

1. Name;

2. Age (optional);

3. Date of Birth (optional);

4. Email Address;

5. Profile Picture (optional);

6. Location;

7. Zip Code (optional);

8. Device Information such as your IP address and device ID;

9. Team or game statistics such as wins or losses, sports you play, court locations you frequently play at and other similar content;

10. Messages, photos, videos or any other content shared with another Player which may include personal information such as your phone number, username and email address, or sensitive personal information such as your race, ethnicity, political beliefs, phone number; and

11. Payment details if you purchase a subscription package.

 

You may change or update any registration information you have provided Us in the Account Settings of the App.

 

Except for your name and email address which is required to sign up for an account, all other personal information, sensitive personal Information and other content your disclose using the App shall be at your own risk.

 

We strongly discourage you from disclosing any information that exposes your identity such as your credit card details, government ID numbers, full name or residential address to other Players or members of your Team.

 

1. Purpose of Collection and Use of Information

 

As to the information you expressly and voluntarily provide us such as your name and email address, we use the information to communicate to you directly for updates or requests for feedback and to verify the identity of your account.

 

As to information that is collected from your use of the App such as your interactions with other Players, members of your Team, we may use the data in an aggregate and non-identifiable form to analyze customer behavior, improve the functionality of our services, understand customer demographics and other similar goals to provide a safe and enjoyable experience of PlayLokal.

 

As to the disclosure of your zip code and location, the data shall only be collected for the purpose of suggesting nearby courts that are nearest to your current location and you control when to share your location subject to the privacy settings of your device.

 

We may share the results of our analysis to third parties but in no way shall the data be identifiable to you.

 

We do not sell any information we collect from you to third parties for any purpose

 

1. Data Security

 

Your information is stored in third-party servers which may only be accessed by Us and any of our duly authorized representatives. Your account is password-protected and is only accessible by you using your unique password.

 

We discourage you from sharing your password to anyone. If any unauthorized person has gained access to your account using your password or if you think your account was accessed by another person without authorization, you may report it to us at [provide email address for example “privacy@PlayLokal.com].

 

1. Disclosure of Data To Third Parties

 

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties for any purpose except when it is required by law, protect you from harm or ordered by the courts or police authorities.
